OK, you guys, here is the announcement you've been waiting for...VividCon 2018 dates and deets!
VividCon will take place one last time on August 10-12, 2018 at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago O'Hare.
Our registrar will be in contact by email with those who pre-registered at last year's VividCon, and we'll be asking you to secure your registration by paying for it during the month of January. ETA: We'll post something publicly when that contact with pre-registered members happens as an alert so you'll know that if you haven't been contacted it means we don't have you listed as pre-registered.
General registration will open at 12:00 p.m. noon ET on Saturday, February 3, 2018 (ETA 12/28/2017: Apparetly I spoke too soon. Exact reg opening date coming soon to an internet connection near you!). Supporting membership will go on sale at a time to be determined later.
Attending memberships will cost $110 if paid by July 1, 2018. After that date the price will rise to $125. Supporting memberships will again be available in two options: streaming only for $25 and streaming + DVD for $50. All Attending members and streaming + DVD Supporting members will receive one copy of the VividCon 2018 premiering DVDs set with their membership. Attending members may also elect to purchase up to 3 extra DVD sets per person for $15 per DVD set, to be ordered in advance of the con.
Hotel room reservations will be available once general registration is underway. Hotel room rates will be $126 King and $138 Double.
