Yes, all Premieres vidshow vids are submitted directly by the vidder. Likewise with other all-premiering vidshows, such as Auction, Challenge, and Non-attending Premieres. Nearly New is also vidder submitted. We also ask our themed vidshow VJs to contact the vidders of the vids in their themed vidshow and ask them to please upload the vid and submit a vid submission form for it for that specific vidshow. So, almost all of our vids are directly submitted by vidders (in the sense of uploaded by and submission form filled out by).
Third-party vid submissions usually only occur when a themed vidshow VJ is not able to get in touch with a vidder or the vidder is known to have passed away or otherwise left fandom, in which case the VJ might be uploading the vid and submitting the form or our vvctech team may be pulling the vid from our vid library to use in a themed vidshow. The latter scenario is frequently the case with the opening history vidshow.
It seems likely to me that if a vidder has been active in the last several years and has publicly posted or submitted their vid someplace that uses a comparable warnings system, they they are likely to still be around for our VJs to contact directly. I think it's most likely to be older vids where we'll have to employ a default "choose not to give content notes" setting.
