Hi,
Yes, it's mid-June already, so I thought I'd drop this note in your inboxes.
***ALL VIDS ARE DUE ON JULY 1, 2007. ***
This includes ALL vids. Premieres, challenges, auction vids. Vids that are not premieres but are going into shows. All vids. ALL VIDS.
You may find redundant links here because we want you to READ!READ!READ!
For your convenience, you will find encoding and uploading instructions on the VVC Site at the
Vid Instruction Page: IMPORTANT CHANGE IN 2007: By submitting your premiering vid(s), you are giving permission to have them included on the con DVD collection. If you do not want your vid to be on the DVD (subject to available room), it should not be submitted as a premiere to any vidshow.
Please fill out the
submission form before uploading your vid.
You will find instructions for encoding and uploading your vids at
Delivery Instructions.
We prefer MPEG2 for vid delivery, and you can read up about that here
as well.
If you have problems encoding to MPEG2, you can use Llama Enc, a program that AbsoluteDestiny put together just for us. You can read about it
here and download it
here. We also offer instructions on how to demultiplex mpg files if that's what you have, by using TMPGenc, and those instructions are also on the
MPEG2 Encoding Tips page. We've tried to cover Mac and PC issues. Explanations, instructions and links to more explanations and instructions are on our
MPEG-2 Encoding Tips Page. If you need to submit your vid by mail, instructions are
here. If you have any other questions or problems, please send an email to vvctech AT gmail DOT com, and we will do our best to help you.
