happy graduation?
so i found a full-time, permanent job, but half my mind thinks that i'm going back to school after a few months, just like how i spent my previous summer holidays. my convocation started and ended on friday in a poof. pictures all up on facebook, if you must see.
i was looking at the smiling, gleeful faces in these photographs - we were so happy throwing our square hats in the air and running around cam-whoring like crazy, not realising that this day marks the end.
had the best days of my life at university. we were a close-knit bunch, though all starkly different. we accepted each other's crazy quirks and scandalous behaviours. we lived, and loved.
eunice: remember we first met in the LT? two of us, alone, trying to make sense of the new environment. we had no idea what to expect. i sat down beside you, and we were hardly apart ever since. 4 years - you've watched me through all the ups and downs, the lefts and rights, without saying much except to let me know you're always here for me. now we let each other go and face a new chapter of our lives on our own. but you see - proximity is never really responsible for true friendships. just want you to know that i've always been really proud of you, and i know that you'll make a wonderful corporate slave. teehee.
and to the others who have made my university days most beautiful - serena, hq, helaine, emma, chrystella... all of you have a really special place in my heart. (: we mustn't lose contact, EVER! you should know by now that i really love you all.
