Ask the universe...
Well, since my boss emailed me to tell me that I've been replaced and therefore been made redundant... Ascent Talent Promotions offerred me my first Promotional assignment!!!
I'll be promoting the hp sponsered Sex and the City 2 opening (4 days over the course of two weeks) in NYC. $18 an hour, a garunteed minimun of $540 for the 4 day assignment, plus 1 training session.
So, I know I have at least some cash coming my way.
I still haven't gotten anything for my Mom and Grandma yet for Mother's Day. I'm metting them for dinner on Sunday night. I can go out tomorrow and get some nice potted plants or something.
I'm really not good with the obligational presents. During the holidays or on birthdays is different, isn't it? Well, it feels that way to me in any case.
My grandmother likes potted plants and sugar free candies. That should be good. I'll have to think about what to get my mother though... hmmm.
Now I'm going to pop in a Netflix and relax.
