Out and About
Went to Woodbury Commons Outlets this morning with Jackie and her two adorable kids. Her daughter Kaydence just turned 5 last month and Ryan will be 2 years old tomorrow!
We went to the Commons because in December Jackie's Coach bag needed a strap replaced, but they stopped making the bag a year ago. Long story short, instead of giving her the credit for the outlet price, they credited her the original retail value of the bag!!!
She paid under $200, but they gave her store credit for $860!!!
Yeah, we had fun in the Coach store today :)
Jackie got two bags and a small purse, then picked me out soemthing for my birthday next month! YAY!!!
Then we went to lunch (which I never did with two children in a public restraunt). Two happy children can be just as loud as two unhappy ones, apparently.
They're so sweet though.
I was going to do some shopping for myself at the outlets, but after lunch didn't much feel like it. I really need some audition/office clothes that actually fit me, but spending money right now makes me a little uncomfortable.
Oh yeah- I haven't told you yet. I'm about to lose my job.
My boss is getting nervous that I'll get cast in a show and just up and leave. The only time I have left town for a job was just this April when I was in Virginia. And I told her about it last November!
Anyway, she's already hired someone to replace me, but has not yet told me that I'm being replaced. I found out because I'm the only person in the sales center on Sundays and the temp agancy left a message about the long-term hire forms.
Yeah, now I'm looking for two part time jobs and an apartment.
Oh, and as per usual, a single straight man who will willingly touch me and also not lie to me.
This is going to be a long summer, I can tell.
But the new Sookie Stackhouse book arrived this morning and I intent to fully enjoy the Vampirey Viking goodness :)
