Holy shit Batman!
I didn't think it was possible for a person in my financial status (i.e. not earning 100k+ a year) to spend so much in such a short amount of time!
First there was the plane tickets which, even this early on, cost several hundred pounds T_T. Still it's the better option; it takes 2, 2 1/2 hours tops compared to about 7 not including any delays the trains decide to have that day. Besides I just checked and it would have cost close to £500 for 2 adults travelling around that time...I dunno who these people are that decide the train fares but they must be fucking evil.
Second, I went shopping yesterday. Before you start, it was for a proper winter coat which, as anyone who's ever been to the NE or even vaguely near it will agree, is essential. However proper warm well made winter coats aren't cheap, even from H&M. Bloody lovely though =)
Thirdly, I have no hair! Y'all remember how long it was before? Well I was sick of it so I decided to get it lopped off. As usual the hairdresser cut it a little too short but thankfully hair grows so it's not too much of a drama. Gonna colour it dark today with some highlight-y bits if I can. J hasn't seen it yet as he's away....that ought to be lol.
So yea, in total I think I spent somewhere in the region of 400 quid.
In other news my Ma took her holiday club kids to see The Singing Kettle on Friday night, anyone else remember that?!? "Spout, handle, lid of metal. What's inside the Singiiiiing Kettle!"
