Below is the artwork inspired by the story wrote by etrix, the author who choose my second prompt for the spn_reversebang, along with the prompt that started it all.

Description:
A journal is found that sheds some light on the life of the man known
as John Winchester, but is it his or one of Mary's? What stories are
contained in those covers?
The story introduces an amazing character, Mandy, who when described by the author made me think of Emma Watson. In the banner above we see Mandy in thought as the images of the stories she's read go through her mind.
There is a scene in the story where Mandy reads about a creature in the journal, a coonigator. At this point she is starting to think that maybe some of the crazy stuff she is reading could be true so she goes to research it on the web. I had this picture of a computer screen covered in different windows with pictures, descriptions & accounts of the creature. Based on times my computer monitor's looked like that while I work on a story or piece of art ;-)
Another scene that made me want to create a piece of art is the moment that Mandy decides she needs to know what happened to the people she's meet through the journal. While running a search on the net she stumbles across the article announcing the birth of one Samuel Winchester.
The story inspired etrix to create a fan mix, this is the CD cover that I created after listening to the tracks a few times while reading the story. My goal was to capture the feel of the music & story throughout the entire arch. The songs gave me the feel of a two disc set. Tracks are listed to the side of the cover.
