I just finished the weekly cleaning, though I didn't clean AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL the things (but then again I never do that).
Now I would like a cup of Chai, but I have no milk nor fresh cream, so I think Prince of Wales will do (I have Chocolate Chunk Cookies, American Way! ... made in: Germany. XD)
I need to sit down and draw, because next week I won't have a chance. I have to do a bunch of things for the driving license (they need a certification that I'm a student, wtf?) and I'm sure they'll be pretty difficult. Then I have to buy presents, but I already have a few I found yesterday; books, obviously (but very good ones).
I bought two books I read as a child, for a friend that (imo) will appreciate despite not being a child anymore, and then I spent some time in the children's literature section of the bookstore. Children were buying things that I wouldn't touch with a stick (nor would have as a child, I fear) but I found a lot of my favourites: Winnie Pooh, Peter Pan, Roald Dahl, Astrid Lindgren, Uri Orlev, Jacqueline Wilson, Philippa Pearce, Daniel Pennac, Susan Cooper, Brian Jacques, Michael Bond, Michael Ende, and a couple of Italian writers, Silvana Gandolfi and Bianca Pitzorno. Sometimes I wish I had a nephew or something like that, so I could take care of his readings. XD Children are obsessed with Twilight, nowadays.
I feel old.
In the end I couldn't resist and bought the 4th and 5th book of the Griezelbus series.
I'm not so old. :D
I'm gonna read them these days. December is the period of the year when I feel compelled to read ghost stories (my father has a lot of those) and re-watch Jane Eyre. Both things make me squee with delightment.
I also bought a Russian grammar, and a German one. Both very small and simple, but I checked and they have what I think I need: schematized morphology for me to copy and repeat, brief explanations, pronunciation. They're small enough to enter in my purse. :D I'm so excited and happy! *_* It was about time. Russian cases are particularly interesting. I didin't think I would be so happy just studying again a couple of languages (which I should do in my spare time, anyway). But they have cases, it's a bit like latin.
I also bought a Bulgarian phrase book for the fun. XD
This makes me feel inspired and relaxed. It's the fall mood. I drink tea, listen to Loreena McKennitt and look thoughtfully at the trees in the garden and trains passing. Did I tell you that I live near a train station? Small one in the east of Milan. But train passes all day. And they don't bother me at all. I like the lights in the night; I sing The Passenger and think: "One day I put something in a bag and go to the station and catch a train, without thinking". One cheap train for Germany, or France. One day you'll be able to do that without fears, you'll feel comfortable wherever you are because you will have enough confidence, enough certainties in your life, and you will catch the train and ejoy the trip.
I think it's connected with this wind. I like it because I feel it sets things in motion.
This is my fall mood. Not sure if it's a good thing or not.
