Our Taipei engagement pictures arrived! I'm so lucky our friend so kindly volunteered to lug them back from Taipei for me. She was going to Taiwan for her own wedding celebration with her family in Kaohsiung and she managed to contact the studio to have them shipped to her parents home so she can bring them back to the US. The albums are so heavy. She saved me hefty shipping costs.
The studio did a great job with the pictures. They have superb good photo editing skills because they made us look like superstars. No matter how much I zoomed in, not a freckle was in sight. We picked a total of 50 pictures.
We started out with outdoor pics in outdoor wedding attire.

Then we changed outfits for casual outdoor shots.
Our next poses were done in evening wear. My makeup artist/hairstylist is so talented. She transformed my hairstyle with the floral dress into this while I was sitting on a chair at the park. She didn't even need a hairdryer!
Even though we didn't understand too much mandarin, the photographer and her assistant managed to make our photos look like ones taken from a magazine.
I look like I'm thinking "I can't wait until I sink my teeth into some juicy dumplings later." I love how the colors turned out in this photo. It almost looks sepia.
We took pictures until sunset!
The makeup artist did an amazing job. I love how natural my makeup looked. I wish I could book her for my wedding day.
We then returned to the studio for a quick dinner and traditional studio wedding portraits.
Here's one in black and white.
Ed and I had so much fun taking these photos. We were surprisingly still energetic after the whole day. We walked back to the hotel, changed into street clothes and headed to the crowded night market for some stinky tofu and hot cakes filled with red bean.
