Congratulations again, Seras Victoria-san. As a man who doesn't believe in a thing like luck, I have to say, the best man (or in this case, woman), has won. How nice for us, too-- there's nothing quite like a person in uniform ( Read more... )

It may be a bad time. You're recently injured, others are growing ill today. But I suppose in a way that makes it the perfect time to ask.

I would like to mind the prison here, Ukitake-san. To manage its upkeep. And I need two references as to the nature of my character.

...is managing the prison not the job of the warden?

The warden is also a peace officer, Ukitake-san, with no experience in that area. It's not advisable or even responsible to think that Seras Victoria-san can do everything required of her proficiently.

I've done my homework. The prison was originally an entity set apart from the police force. It was an action of Yagami Light-san that caused the two to be considered as one force, perhaps in a grab for power in the justice system. I won't judge his motives, there are times when such behavior may very well be noble and necessary.

But I'm not fond of absolute authority, as you should well know.

And the prison facilities desperately need a technological update.

Very well. Do you need it on paper or in person?

Paper should be more than fine, provided your signature is visible. I suspect you'll be honest; honesty suits a man like yourself.

Ukitake-san, thank you. I'm endebted.

You're welcome, Kisuke.

[ooc: Assumed, or should I write something up?]

I'm really not welcome. But that's beside the point.

[ooc: I think Riza-mun wants something concrete, but I think a few sentences about what daddy has to say about problem child works. ♥ so if Ukitake would write an essay icly, which he might oh god, feel free to just note? lol plot tiems is hard, ilu.]
