Kiss My Grits
Making a "Angel Lush w/ Pineapple" for dessert at the Darrow's tomorrow. There is going to be an Easter bonnet contest and I wanted to share my inspiration.
My bonnet is going to be 50% bonnet and 50% hair... so I'm not sure if I will win. My inspiration is Flo from the show Alice. See below.
In preperation for the hair that will ensue tomorrow I set it with pin curls today. And for the rest of the evening have been sporting a doo rag not unlike the below Flo.
I'll be sure to post pics tomorrow... I hope this works.
Another note of excitement...
We are going to Bulgaria and Greece at the end of June. Very exciting. We will end our trip in Sofia watching Def Leppard/Whitesnake on July 4th. So, I've had a lot of metal in my head lately...
Today, I've been slutting out to Weezer and Bel Biv Devoe. I've been searching for this Bel Biv Devoe CD for 4 months... indie record stores don't seem to carry 1990's horny butt music. I found the trio at Virgin in Union Square. I hadn't been in that store in quite some time... but it really won me over today. Now, I don't listen to a lot of this kind of music.. but what section do you think I found them in?
