Since Dream is the personification of your characters' dreams, he knows about all of them and can tug at strings to change them at will. His canon has a pretty liberal interpretation of dream, including ideas, daydreams and even hopes. This means he will know what you dreamed about last night, what you've been daydreaming about and even the secret wishes your characters have.
So as not to step on anyone's toes, please comment here if you wish him to not stalk your character's posts or to not mention certain things.
On the flip side, if you want him to mention things that no one else would know but him, do comment here and I'll get to work immediately. Lastly, if your character is from an obscure fandom that even Google doesn't know about, I'd love to hear about whatever you want Dream to know when he threads with your character!
