wheee. i hadnt been to one in eleven years. maybe its cause i listen to kroq in the morning now? i dunno. this was the first bill in a long time where i wanted to see most of the bands. i wanted to see all but 1. and then scott weiland solo? i was there.
i got there early and i was walking by the live broadcast stage they say an interview with weiland is up next, so i had to geek it up with a bunch of kids so i could see him up close, less than five feet away. wish i hadnt watched. snow patrol were bitches. and scott was so fried on something i thought he had just had a stroke. it was PAINFUL to watch. he was nice though and came down to chat to everyone standing there. as he approached me i ran away. hes on the moz level with me. it has to be right.
i need to go to sleep.
highlight of my night was KANYE WEST. the surprise performance. he played like 20 minutes. so random, so good - and such brilliant cross marketing promotion. i enjoyed it so much i would consider seeing him headline.

vampire weekend - fun. only saw one song
snow patrol - they are really great live, but its nothing special. if that makes sense
scott weiland - a royal mess, but i loved it. even tho the crowd emptied out and never cheered :[ he opened up with a smiths cover! and a random one! reel around the fountain. it made me happy!! and barbarella made me happy....took me back. i will still see him in february, headline. i hope!

kanye west - beyond words!
paramore - made me want to punch myself in the face repeatedly.
death cab for cutie - i wish they were better live. when did ben get so fucking skinny? good set tho, crossed like 5 albums.
the killers - never seen them live. they were quite enjoyable. brandon is too skinny, but i like his feathers. the crowd fucking LOOOOOOOVED them like nothing ive ever seen before. they were the hit of the night. why does everyone smile at mr brightside? most depressong song ever, to me.
the cure - i left after 45 minutes cause i gotta to sleepie. and it was kind of a buzz kill after the killers. sad to say. how have i seen the cure 4 times? i like them, ofcourse. im a music person. but i am def. a casual fan.
