no matter what happens today on 8. i think its amazing how many public figures have come out against 8. so many high powered politicals in california. so many big big business companies. almost all sound unions. teachers. etc. and as always, celebrities.
but the support in politicians and public companies is really what has seemed the most amazing.
something to remember, as always.
i realized the other day that the reason yes on 8 is so big, i think, is because i believe that people are getting their materials from their local churches. i have seen a few churches handing out signs. and personally? i had to SCRAMBLE to find my no on 8 stuff. so i think its something church groups are doing together, and thats why there are so many materials, and hoardes of people everywhere.
i will say. the street i take to work everyday had always been covered in yes signs. and i noticed today, most were replaced nos. or right next to them. and people that had them in their house, had plastered it.
im nervous. but. hopeful.
