"Canadaland" Attempt Deux
I originally had planned to go to Toronto on Saturday the 14th of March but when I got to LAX they told me I could not check in because I was only an hour before flight time and I had to be 2 hours early.
Note : to everyone if you are flying internationally get to the airport at least 2 hours early. I travel internationally all the time and this is the first time I’ve had this problem. I went all over Europe this past summer and go to Canada all the time and haven’t run into this before.
It was pretty pointless too as I spent an hour waiting to board. But I made it!
I sat beside Rachel Bilson on the plane which is pretty freaking cool. She was the star in jumper and is engaged to Hayden Christensen (lucky bitch) I saw the huge rock on her finger and all.
She was sort of snobby though ,had tons of weird food with her (are you allowed to bring fruit through security/customs?) and she was reading twilight. She also had a TON of magazines so I think maybe she was just reading twilight to keep up with the times.
She is TINY short and thin. Her hands look rather elderly though.
When we got off the plane and went to customs she covered herself with her scarf and everyone flocked to her
It made the line shorter for me but I must admit I was pretty jealous.
It’s hard for me to be on my own. But anyways I’ve just been staying with my aunt and uncle in Burlington. Which is great it is filled with old houses and HUGE trees. It’s also right on lake Ontario.
It isn’t like a full blown big city but it is definitely more developed and tight than Mission Viejo is. I love it I haven’t taken many photos yet but I My relatives have a great house and set up for me. I have a big room with my own bathroom and there’s plenty of exercise equipment and can’t wait to post some. Dexter in the basement so I’m happy as a clam.
