adieu, 08

Dec 31, 2008 13:54

new year's eve is really important to me. it's always been my favorite "holiday", as i have always been eager to celebrate the prospect of a fresh start, of new adventures, and of the possibility that things can only get better.

but i'm also really superstitious, and for the past few years ive held firmly to the belief that how you spend new years eve reveals something about how the rest of your year is going to go. my 2008 was all about branching out and discovering incredible amounts of happiness where it was least expected - which was exactly how i brought it in.

today has been nothing short of awful from the second i opened my eyes, so lets hope that things turn around and that the day/night ends up being full of happy surprises.
i hope all of you have an amazing night, and an amazing year.
be safe everyone! i wish all of you the absolute best.

happy new year.
love, veronica.
