USPS sucks
Since both Jen and I were going to be gone for 3 weeks over winter break, we decided that having our mail held would be a good idea. We were pleased that the USPS website had an online form that let you specify what dates you wanted your mail held, thus saving us a theoretical trip to the post office. So we filled out the form having them stop holding the mail on the 14th. Apparently they totally ignore the date, because they started holding our mail on Wednesday as best as we can tell. This sucks because both Jen and I were expecting packages and now we have to go to the post office and lug boxes back to the apartment! So boo hiss post office!
