The answer in short....Yes.
Bushy vetoed a childrens health insurance bill this morning....that would have been funded by higher taxes on those disgusting, stench making cigarettes. He insisted however, that this bill was "just too costly"!!!
Oh my....something too expensive for Bush?.....Can this be true?
This is the same rat bastard that will soon go to congress and ask for another 190 billion dollars...yes, that's ONE HUNDRED NINETY BILLION dollars for his little Iraq nightmare/escapade.
When Bushy "came" into office in 2001....we had a Federal budget SURPLUS, that means we had money to SPEND...........with the debt at 5.6 trillion.
Seven glorious years later......Bushboy signed a measure LAST week to raise the debt ceiling for the FIFTH time in his presidency to 9.8 TRILLION dollars.....
That's not counting the astronomical cost of the fun little wars in Afganistan and Iraq...hundreds of billions of dollars....all suplemental appropriations......that do NOT show up as part of the budget.....thus do not show up as part of the debt...isn't that niiiice??
Statistics show Mr. Bush has borrowed more money from foreign governments and banks than this country's first 42
president's....COMBINED........jesus christ......
Oh, but this childrens health insurance bill.........
Hmm, just too costly.....too expensive.
Translation.......Bush doesn't give a fuck about people in general.....and certainly not POOR people......or thier kids.
I hope no children are "left behind"
Why do you think he would veto such a bill after increasing the national debt by TRILLIONS of dollars?
Correct answer wins......my respect.
