i cannot sleep in my room tonight and i am very sad. i guess i could, but there is nothing in there but a ply wood floor, soon to be replaced by a modern "shag" carpet.
today i met chris's new cat, ginger, who is a long-haired harriet impersonator. she is the same size and color with the same (but slightly less adorable) meow. she doesnt sqeak when she jumps and lacks sass, but she is extremely friendly and nice(unlike harriet).
chris then decided that we should go to the humane society and pick out a second cat. he narrowed it down to three possibilities: cailey, a long haired calico with maine coon tendencies, tigger, a giant lump of terrified brown fur hiding in a litter box, and pumpkin III, a white cat with black spots and mile long ear tufts.
pumpkin III was the final choice because of her extreme friendliness. i think about cats too much.
