I'm back!!! and with the first update for this new legacy, part of NLC 4 1/2 (which you can join if interested).
I'm planning on doing all 5 generations this time and with the challenges it should be very interesting to play.
So, without further ado...
Meet Catarina.
She's an eccentric young woman with a very powerful instinct for sales. She's a hopeless romantic who just hopes to meet her other half, which sometimes makes her inappropiate when talking with someone, especially if it's a guy. She firmly believes meat is murder, as well.
Her biggest aspiration (other than starring her own fairytale) is to be a monster maker, and she loves french toast, classical music and anything purple.
The challenge for this generation:
Pick a Color. This generation will be based off any one color you choose. This applies to both parents and children. Doesn't apply to existing elders.
It was very easy to choose what color to use...
She was obviously very happy she got to use purple all the time.
This is the face she did when she first walked in her small shack at Barnacle Bay.
A few pics of her very purple house.
First thing she did was check out the local junkyard for some scrap.
Instead she saw...him. She forgot all about the scrap immediately. The minute their eyes crossed, she could feel the attraction. It was love.
She just had to talk to him. His name was Jeff and Cat thought he was cute, and just the kind of guy she needed.
She believed a bit in the paranormal, so she checked out if their signs were compatible.
They weren't, but they got along quite fast. He just started to talk about how ambitious he was, and how he wanted to take down the most powerful family in the island.
Then they flirted a little. Of course Cat was completely excited about this.
She firmly believed giving him a massage would make him fall for her.
It was just true, pure love, neither of them couldn't resist. This happened in barely three hours.
Cat felt like the luckiest person on Earth. Being with Jeff just felt so easy, so right. It was like it was meant to be this way, if all of this happened this fast then that meant they were soulmates. Or so she thought.
She had to break the moment when she noticed it was getting late and went back to her scrap search.
She wasn't very happy with what she found, but she still took some things home.
Then she invited him home and they had an unexpected first date: she ate the salad she especially made for him, while he seemed completely uninterested and just sat there reading about Raymundo.
He barely looked at her, it was as if all the passion from hours ago had just vanished.
Eventually he dropped the book and ended up dancing for a while.
Cat kept dreaming of ghosts and paranormal things, so the next morning she got a job as a ghost hunter.
She spent all morning trying to invent new things, just putting together some scrap to see what she'd come up with.
It didn't end well, though, she randomly caught fire.
Later that day she started on her first day as a ghost hunter.
She was very nervous about having to deal with spirits, but to her surprise, they were pretty easy to handle.
To her delight, she noticed people around her cheered her up for being so brave and stand up against those annoying spirits. It was very well paid as well.
The next day, Cat was back to being a regular person trying to invent something big and with a broken washer.
She tried to fix it but ended up getting singed.
After she went back to normal, she invited Jeff home. She wasn't able to stop thinking about him, even if he had rejected her, so she had to be around him.
Jeff reluctantly agreed and didn't seem too excited to see her.
He kept rejecting her kisses and flirts, that's when she learned Jeff had a new girlfriend now.
Poor Cat was heartbroken, and betrayed. How could he just forget about their love?
She ran away and let her rage out on the poor spirits.
She gave her house an eccentric touch and she used one of the spirits ad home décor.
Cat thought to herself no one could bring her and Jeff apart, so she kept insisting with him, push him to fall for her once again, make him realize they were meant to be. He simply thought she was insane. And desperate.
She was so confused, he let her believe they had something special.
It made her feel so stupid, she hadn't invented a single good thing and the love of her life kept treating her badly.
At least her career was on the right track. Dealing with poltergeists was both amusing and scary, but it was such a good feeling.
To her surprise, Jeff followed her while she was working. He just stood there looking at those haunted houses.
Cat took it as a sign he really loved and cared about her. But he was just upset she didn't even bother look at him while she dealt with spirits. He left angrily after this.
Will Cat be able to invent something? Will she be able to reconcile with Jeff? Will Jeff notice they are perfect for eachother?
Find out in the next update!
