Ooooo, someone had some GOOD TIMES! today...
Of course I left my presentation off until the last minute, and of course the thing wouldn't save, so I had to find a cork board in this mess of a house...and I did, in Natalie's room, just the right size, and covered in elephants.
The presentation went well despite my un-preparedness, Ward was mad cool and everything was really chill. I love Al and I'm going to miss seeing him weekly! He gave me a free Alterra shirt and Iris is happy because she thinks I'll stop wearing my Wisconsin one, but little does she know...
No parking ticket either...but onto the important issue at hand...
RUBEN ASKED ME FOR MY PHONE NUMBER!!! GAH!!! We went to Jalisco's for lunch and he kissed me and was all flirty...SO cute! Iris thoroughly approved. Well we kept smiling at each other and I was talking to him while paying the bill but I just couldn't muster up the courage...when we walked out Iris started yelling at me and was thinking up ideas on how I could go back in and ask him out. Well two seconds later he pops his head out of the door, looks around and goes, "Um, can I have your number?"
Bitches and pimps and mother fuckin' hoes! I was drink with happiness.
So then I just dropped Iris off and did some errands, but man am I relieved...and really perturbed simultaneously because I'm leaving on Sunday, and Ruben is the type of guy I'd like to date and get to know...and not just fuck. Fate is a cruel bitch. Gerardo just called too and I might do something with him tomorrow...again: Fate is a cruel, cruel bitch.
