Maddy, Mari and I are in the world´s cutest, most random little town. Morretes, Paraná.
If it weren´t so cold and overcast it would be just like México. Colorful houses with clay roofs, palm trees, exploding flower plants, chickens, and cats on the roof, all located at the foot of mountains covered in lush, dreamy vegetation. Not to mention the cute little old men biking down the street. Watching them, while hanging out the window eating orange peels for the fiber, is like heaven.
I totally fell asleep on the train ride, but I saw the best views. That´s what 24 hours of traveling and waiting does to you. We got to Curitiba at 3am, and had to wait until 8am. We tried to go to the 24 hour street, but turns out everything wasn´t 24 hours, except for the drunks, and so we went back to the bus station, and waited, and waited, and waited...
I must say this isn´t as relaxing as I thought it would be, although I´m having fun with the girls. But it´s only Tuesday, we still have Paranaguá and the Ilha do Mel to do and see. Maybe we´ll meet up with some hippies and smoke with them. And then go up in a cloud of smoke.
