Not to scare anyone, but it started.

This is the first war I remember really living through, you know. Of course, there has been a lot of wars through the last 16 years, but either I was too far away or too young to be that effected. Of course, I remember Kosovo, but that was still so very far away, and wasn't at all dangerous for me. So is Iraq, but so many other countries are being divided up now, you know? France, Russia, and Germany (and a lot more countries than that) are on one side, while America, England, Spain(?) and others are on the other. What side is Canada on? We didn't send any troops, and maybe Quebec might want to side with France. But this definitely not an educated observation, since I don't understand Quebec at all. Hell, I don't understand most of Canada, period. I mean, I'm as far west from that centre of Canadian power as you can get and still be in Canada.

Canadian power, what an oxymoron, huh?

On the other hand, Canada will probably side with America, since we're right next door, and America has been our closest ally since, like, ever. Does it even matter?

Perhaps it truly started on the morning of 9/11. Did I ever tell you that the night before the attacks I couldn't sleep at all. I only closed my eyes an hour before the plane impacted the first tower.

I'm visualizing a snowball going down a hill. Where will we be when it stops?
