High School Without Pity
Here I am! Anyways, we finally have settled into our new classes and the teaching schedule has been sorted out. Half of my teachers are only Student Teachers, and not one of the second half have been teaching for more than two years. Oh, the adventure of it all. Now, because I freaking feel like it, a description of every singly one of those delightful dames!
Fonseca: My drama teacher. The only one of the four I actually feel has any back bone. She scares me, a bit. But she's fun. And you have to be tough to be a drama teacher, or the wonderfully eccentric group of drama students turn into a bunch of retarded monkey who have to pee.
Blake: English. We had two weeks with a sub who, though nice, had a voice like nails on chalkboard. Then she appeared. Ms. Blake. The wonderful, adorable Ms. Blake. Awww! She's so sweet! Look, she gave us Hershey's Kisses and let us make Valentines out of construction paper while reads us "The Catcher in the Rye." Oh, she really likes the "Catcher in the Rye", she does! She says that she reads it every time she moves into a new house, and the Holden is the bestest character EVA, and is her secret boyfriend! Cute... well, at least she's not obsessed with Jodie Foster, too.
Chan: Student Teacher. If you're late, %50 off your assignment. But she makes up for that rule by letting the class chit chat while doing our work, taking notes, listening to her lectures, watching Bill Nye, doing experiments, shooting spit balls, drinking slurpies and feeding the chinchillas. Oh, and she's legally blind. And that's the news from Biology 11.
Shannon Student Teacher, Math 11. When we answer a question right she gives us candy! Hell, when we answer a question wrong she gives us candy! Yay for Shannon! Of course, right behind me is the boys. You know, the loud ones that you laugh at but not with, and say, "Well, boys will be boys"? Yeah, those. Shannon, don't just threaten to split them up! Follow through! Follow through! And thanks for the Smarties.
