"Friday (night), just got paid." =) Yessssss! First on my agenda, pay billz. Second on my agenda, shoe shopping! I want/need a couple pair of flats: a commute to work pair and pair I can rock with some dk wash straight leg jeans which I will purchase with my next paycheck at the end of the month. Imma hit up Rainbow first and the Square One. I haven't reached baller status yet, so for now I'm the "Queen of Cheap" w/o sacraficing too much quality of course. LOL.
Me n my girl applied to an apartment that we really like in Jersey, it's a close commute to Manhattan, good deal, and a good amount of space and they want to offer us an apartment but b/c my girl's credit is so low, we have to pay an assinine amount of money for the security deposit: a lil over $1600 each. Daaaaaaamn! Boys and girls, it really PAYS to have good credit. If we had a co-signor, it would just be first month's rent: $875 (so we both would only have to come less than $450 out of the pocket each). I have most of that $1600 but then after that, I would have next to nothing left and I don't like living like that. I like having some cushion and live comfortably, so now I gotta look for a second job. I just think that's ridiculous. I'm really thinking about asking my parents but then I don't want to depend on them like that anymore. But shit, what would you rather pay $1600 for the deposit or half of $875 if someone co-signed for you?
