Really? My mother used to give me a small bouquet of crocuses whenever she thought it was necessary to show she cared, so it's a little odd to hear that so many people haven't gotten very many gifts like that for Valentine's, or even at all.

My mom and dad used to get me little chocolates so that I didn't feel left out on Valentine's ... I kinda miss all that.
