Well, now. It seems as though red wine is the popular choice when it comes to selecting gifts for me; I can only hope that I'm not viewed as the resident lush ...

Selecting my own gift would have cheapened your gesture - not putting any thought into it at all isn't as warming as taking a little time.

I guess you've got a point, but I'm still not sure if worrying over whether you would like it or not was worth it. In the end, I guess it really was worth it, but still.
