A shame, really, that St. Valentine's Day is overshadowing a celebration far more worthy of note. However, that doesn't necessarily mean I've been dissuaded from preparing a small gift for a very special someone ...

What celebration is that, Genesis?

I refuse to believe that I'm the only one who's remembered that tomorrow is the Chinese New Year.

The lunar new year isn't something high on my list of celebrations. Then again, neither is Valentine's Day.

I can't say that I'm surprised.

I'm sure you'd just die of shock if I wasn't meeting your loveless and lonely expectations.

If I had the time to cater to a needy boy, I wouldn't have any trouble finding one to date.

I hardly imagined you to be the 'needy boy' type.

They're all needy, when you're dating them.

Oh? I can't say I've ever had such a problem, myself.

Never? I find that hard to believe.

I imagine that everyone has it happen. First it's all cozy snuggles, then they keep calling, and when you can't spend every waking moment with them they get whiny, and try to guilt you for having other commitments...

Now, that sounds more a chore than a relationship, and I prefer to nurture my relationships with mutual pleasure in mind. Any whines will be quickly shown the door.

But any wine will never make it out your door, mm?

Unless I happen to be hurling a bottle at a departing back, no. Thankfully that's only happened twice.
