movie review
watched christine last night (for the first time completely through) while we were in bed because i couldn’t sleep.
dumbest premise for a movie.
a car that has a mind of its own that can’t be “killed” even if it’s set on fire, beaten with mallets, and crushed into a cube? are you kidding me? this doesn’t make sense because if it always returns to its pristine condition, why was it rusted and messed up when arnie bought it sometime in the 70’s when the car became evil when it was made in the 50’s?
i give it a D. even though it was stupid, i have a soft spot for movies made in the late 70’s and early-mid 80’s. i find them comforting. it also was saved from an F because i jumped once (but not enough to wake up scott).
