music is my boyfriend
so...this whole upgrading to a house situation is working out way too smoothly. I am kind of doing it all without the help of my parents, which is weird. Usually I would never be able to make this spontaneous of a decision because my parents wouldn't want to put forth the money immediately for it.
But I am currently rolling coins as we speak to go towards the deposit.
I was worried about having someone move into this apartment in time for me to move out so I wouldn't have to pay two rents and my friend Sarah called me today really wanting it. So that's surprisingly taken care of.
Stephen is paying his deposit today and signing the lease to go ahead and secure the house. I will be doing the same thing on Friday when I get paid. I feel strangely adult.
I don't feel so stressed about the move because I am only switching blocks really. And I am excited about having Stephen and Emily as roommates. It's going to be weird not being by myself all the time. I better start making a note of all my weird habits so I can make sure not to bring those out in front of them.
So once we get moved in...definite block party fo sho.
My mom wants me to talk with my dad about him buying some property around milledgeville so i can learn the ropes and be able to do it on my own if I want. So I thought why not. I'm young, I'm not really in a rush to get to grad school. Plus I have always wanted to learn how to do what my dad does, it's a good investment, and it's a good town to learn it in.
Who knows though. I'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants here.
I ended up not having to work tonight so woot!
