before bed every night, i find a movie to watch, so i can fall asleep to it.
tonight, i picked a documentary called Reckless Indifference. instead of falling asleep, i watched the entire thing, which is why i'm up so late. i guess other people have heard of Brandon Hein, and watched the documentary before, but i've never heard of the poor man, and i'm actually outraged that he's spending life in prison with no possibility of parole just because some D.A. decided to label him a 'threat to society'. i don't ever get all worked up about stuff, but this really upset me. i actually cried when i found out he's been in jail for 9 years now. that means he's about 26 or something. he's been in jail since he was just SIXTEEN. since oddly enough, i'm all worked up about it now, i wanted to do SOMETHING, but i knew i'd never be able to actually write Brandon himself, even though i want to. so i googled him, found www.brandonhein.com, and i just emailed Arnold Schwarzenegger. it said he had the power to overturn Brandon's sentence, so i wrote him this whole thing that i'm sure hundreds of other people have already said. now i feel weird knowing i just emailed someone who made the saying, "I'll be back" famous. but anyways, i'll glad that i tried to do something.
i still can't believe i got THIS upset about something.
but it's important.
