[The door to Dean's former room bangs open violently and the young hunter enters, gun held out before him eyes darting around for any sign of movement within the suburban house's interi--wait a minute! This looks like a dorm room! Eyebrows coming together, eyes narrowing, he straightens and looks over his shoulder, Bobby Singer and Sam should have been behind him, but the view is nothing but a hallway peppered with mirrors. Frowning he steps backward into the hallway, looks from the left to the right, follows the outline of the doorjamb with his gun, and then steps back into the room as if expecting the repeated motion to magically make everything okay.
When the attempt fails, as he'd expected it would, he assumes the ready postion again, creeping in low to check the room for possible dangers. After tearing open the shower curtain, threatening the underbed, and nearly tearing the closet door off, Dean's eyes fsll on the desk and the Blackberry-like device sitting on it. It isn't an EMF reader as he originally thought, which would have been weird anyway. Creepy random room gives you and EMF reader to confirm its creepy randomness. What the hell?
To all intents and purposes it looks a lot like devices he's seen Sammy use. Fumbling he turns the thing to audio. Hopefully it will work like one of those walk talkie phones.]
