It's funny how a split second can change your life. It's funny how you think you know who you are up until the point you're formally introduced to your soul, your heart. It's funny how people are made up of intricate differences and imperfections. It's funny how you don't know anything until you fully realize and accept your ignorance. It's funny how there always seems to be a surprise around every corner. It's funny how sunshine can bring a smile to your face any day. It's funny to think about how materialistic our world is when, in reality, material possessions are the only things we'll leave behind when we die. It's funny how people play to an image, fill a mold, fit in. It's funny how lemon drops remind me of softball. It's funny how crying can actually stitch up a broken heart for a period of time. It's funny how blessed we all are without even realizing it. It's funny how orange soda makes me feel five again. It's funny how often nature takes my breath away. It's funny how I feel like I've lost who I used to be when, in actuality, I've just embraced the person I've become. It's funny how much I love little kids and the fact that they take me back to my own childhood. It's funny how the night brings out my emotion, my passion, my dreams. It's funny how out of control our lives are no matter how hard we hang on to its consistencies. It's funny how one decision can effect your entire life; and it's funny how your entire life can effect one person.
"so shut your eyes and dream of tomorrow
as long as we awake the next morning
there's always something to live for
there's always a reason to dream"
