Such an opportunity! Again! Being young and in love is just this on-going set of lucky options and always having the world in front of you. I can't believe how many fucking rad things are happening in our benefit. I couldn't look for anything else in a place like this for August. Living in the best town in the country, for next to no money. I feel high and drunk and silly off of nothing.
Ray's friend Matt is coming to stay with us on Friday, we're going to a couple of Gilman Street shows. Then Amanda is coming the weekend after that. I believe more Jersey people (Erica!) are coming in August. I think we're going to Mexico. Love, love, love, everything.
Books I'm reading right now or have just finished, The Queer Beats Regina Marler, Timequake, Breakfast of Champions, The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut, We Got the Neutron Bomb: The Untold Story of LA Punk by Marc Spitz (I believe), and The Essential Neruda (all of Pablo's good shit). I'm going to be starting Lolita Vladamir Nabokov's novel which has been highly recommended to me in the past, but this Ukrainian guy at the BART station said it would "shape my life about sex and love." What are you guys into?
