i'm reading 'notes from the underground' right now, i think you'd like it. i can bring it when i go out there and we can trade or something. when\where do you wnt to meet up?

i've heard of this book and have been meaning to read it. i don't really have too big of a collection yet (i got robbed by oi! punk! street punx! in philly, haha, long story i'll share once you get here), but there are tons of rad bookstores around here i'm visiting today so maybe i'll have something to trade by then. i really think you would love it if you came up and saw this city, nor-cal is ten times better than LA or anything in southern california. atleast that's what i think. if you take a bus or something i can meet you, i'm not sure how much tickets price but if not you could maybe get a ride up here from craigslist. we'll figure something out, just keep in touch about the exact day you're coming and stuff. i'm so excited!

i'm landing in san diego on august 15th and i'm spending the first day or two there, then i'm not sure whats going on. i have to be back in san diego the night before i go home because my flight is at 6am on the 25th, but aside from that i'm pretty much just travelling about and seeing what i can find. i want to go to mexico on my birthday, i'd love it if you could go with me. i can probably pay your way down there. i like southern california but everyone is so happy all the time i kind of start to hate it after two or three days, i want to go to LA for a day just to see if everything i've heard is true, but i cant see spending any more time there. like i said im travelling alone so if you want to come on any adventures with me you're more than welcome, otherwise i'll give you more specific days when i figure things out.

i cant wait to see you, it's been too long. if you want to meet me in southern california we can definitely get to mexico, it doesnt make much sense to go up to san francisco then go all the way back down.

or you can head up here, hang out, then we'll both go back down towards mexico, and i can hang around til you head off towards the east, or before then - and come back up north by myself.

i may be in berkeley by the time august comes around, so i'm not really sure what my living situation will be by then. it's right outside of san francisco, it's not far. but i can let you know before the end of the month though definitely if you need to find a hostel. i don't think there would be any trouble with you staying where i'm at, it depends on how big a room or place we manage to find. and what show?

whatever, hostels are so easy to find out there. just let me know. camille in berkeley? there's a shock. actually...i've always wanted to check out berkeley as well...hm...

the show is just some bands from california at a club called the echo. hellcat records puts on a free show there every night, and even though i don't know anything about any of the bands, i wanted to go to at leats one local show out there, ya know? wait, nevermind, the show is five dollars and then after 10:30 it's free...something like that. i dont know.

i can't wait to get your letter. i love hearing from you.

hey! scratch that, you're coming to sleep on my couch. i'm staying with this awesome british lady in berkeley, she's letting us sublet a room of hers for almost nothing. it's so cute, she has a sweet dog, a fantastic little garden, stories of travelling the entire world, and is a great conversationalist. it's so homey, come and stay!
