For those of you keeping score back home, I had an awesome weekend. Very nice.
Also ready to go back to the US, though. The semester is almost over and now it's just that foot-tapping time while I wait for things to wrap themselves up. Also, I am so god damned sick of my neighbor. I am going to have a nervous breakdown because of her, I swear to god. The good news is that my dad is going to complain to the program I'm through first thing when he gets home because he is pretty upset at the amount of money he's paying for me to be treated the way she treats me and for me to be that miserable. However, this is not the sort of thing that my dad generally does, so I don't expect that he'll get very far. It is awfully sweet of him, though, and I appreciate the effort.
Now, however, I am way behind on my NaNo, although close enough that I know I can finish this mofo. I'm going to do it. I have 26 hours left, and I need less than 7k words. I can do this. I can do this.
If I do it, I'm ordering myself a "She blinded me with library science" shirt from Questionable Content. Hells yes.
However, now I am off to work on my NaNo and drink lots of fluids--I am a little hungover from my last dinner with my dad and his girlfriend last night. But god damn was it a good dinner and damn good wine. Need an amazing restaurant in Paris? I'm your woman. :P
