I'm in my hometown in Pennsylvania. When I dream of this area, it is almost always a lot bigger with a lot more trees/wooded areas, and a lot seedier than in reality. I have wandered away from home, and while I'm not lost, I am sort of asking for trouble by straying. A man has been holding me captive in a garage/dug out cave for a long period of time, maybe 6 months to a year or more. He keeps me chained in the back of the place where he's holding me, so that I can't get close to the large garage door. There are boxes and random sorts of things that one would expect to find in a storage area. The man is bald, medium size, and medium height. He wears glasses, but is otherwise unremarkable. He has threatened me constantly, though during the dream, he produces both a gun and a blade. I realize that without question he is going to kill me. At first, he leads to believe that he is just going to shoot me in the head, which I quickly have to come to terms with. At least it will be a quick death. Then he changes his mind, or explains that I misunderstood him. He plans to slit my throat first, making me suffer, and then shoot me. I beg him to shoot me first and spare me the pain. He just laughs and says that no amount of begging will make him change his mind. I'm unchained, and we struggle. I am just about to make it to the garage door, and it's open. He keeps grabbing my arm trying to pull me back. I know that we're in the woods, and I'm terrified that even if I do make it to the door that no one will be around to see or help me. My captor thinks the same thing. I do make it to the door though, and there's a man getting into a truck just down the path. He is some kind of service man, a garbage collector or something. I shout out to him, "Help! He's going to kill me! He's trying to kill me!"
I'm released. I find my way back home, but decide that I need to get to a hospital first, before I see my family or friends, just to be checked out since I've been held in captivity for such a long period of time.
