shit that's been happening lately
So, the whole Marines thing is off for now. At least until I can lose the weight, and then I'll go back to the recruiter. I've realised that I need to start hardcore dieting and excercising if I want to make it in the Corps.
On another note...Ria and I have decided that a change in scenery is what we both need right now. I contacted my step-mom, and she and my dad told me that we have a place to stay for a bit in Florida. That's right, "Mr. I hate the sun and heat" is making plans to move to Florida. I've been doing research for the move the last couple of nights at work. So far I've compared three different moving companies and I also looked up apartments for rent in the area where my dad and step-mom live. It's actually not that bad for rent down there. Ria and I need to save up a shit-load of money before we can give them a date for our move. So I'm currently looking for a second job to supplement my income. If I can find another full-time job that pays more than this one, I'll take that instead. I sent my resume and application to the Middlesex Sheriff's Office when I heard they were looking for Corrections Officers...I should put this degree of mine to better use than being a glorified night watchman, right
Anyway, that's about it for now. I'll keep you all posted on the "Florida Project" as new things happen.
