so. what have i to say. I have this to say. I hate being tired. Dazing in an out of conciousness. It really lowers the quality of life. (well at least i have a good place to rest my head.)well
ima say this. This month was over before it started. Time is creeping ever so not slowly on me.
After analyzing me options. it seems ima gonna have to send my PDA back for repairs. YAY.
what happened. Well an unfortunate accident left my MAC address at 00.00.00.00.00.00.00
and for all you who know what a mac address is and for those who dont. all zeros is not a valid address. Which means the Radio module is er broken.
What caused this. a st00pid update they put online. Oh well. i get it free of charge and a technology upgrade for having to put up with this. YAY extra stuff. i think they are just going to put a more powerful Radio transmitter in there which will increase the broadcasting strength by at least a 100 more feet.
since its range is only 300 ft. kinda makes having a wireless network kinda moot. SO how am i going to increase range. ima build me an antenna. not anything Omni-Directional. this will be more of a LOS thing.
a beam. Which means i get more range and since im only contact one place (home). i wont need anything more powerful. However increase the range of my home network may just a bit more complex. Cuz for anything really useful i need Omni-Directional. Cuz i aint going to be in the same spot all the time. Ive acquired some blueprints to build an LOS transmitter and looking for blueprints to build a powerful Omnidirectional transmitter.
With the omni ima hook up my 250w stereo amp that ima modify and broadcast the signal. Which will give me about a 20 mile range. However. since im going to use the LOS module i can transmit the signal around 10 miles as the crow flies without having to have any uber pumping up. now if i can only find a geographic map of this area id be in business.
