Bad swine

As some of you may know I work for a county health department, so guess what today is all about? If you guessed swine flu, you guessed right. Here’s hoping that this thing doesn’t mutate into a real nasty, because that would such on a lot of levels.

The interesting part is that it is a mutation of a swine flu, a bird flu and 2 human strains combined ... I don't even want to think about the logistics of that.

BTW chatting with the folks in the lab didn’t make me feel any better about it. According to them the CDC is just waiting for the other shoe to drop. The thing is they don’t know if that shoe is going to be a baby shoe, or a size 18 jack boot.
