today i was slaughtered by make-up french quizzes but the feeling of overall relief to be finished with make-up work has thankfully consumed the feeling of failure.

i had an epiphany and overcame my crush, it feels great and i'm proud of myself. long story short, it was one sided. and also, some people are completely different in one on one situations than they are in group settings and i just realized i am over that.
i also stopped caring about getting dressed and doing my hair? yeah. kelsey said i have looked really pretty lately which i found hilarious because i have been wearing the same cut off bermuda shorts for a little over a week and i have neglected my hair and makeup for even longer. i'm happy with it. i'm not looking forward to primping for prom. i am however, looking forward to playing soccer with kelsey greg and neil after prom in my cocktail dress and softball socks. and to our tent sleepover, which is going to be fantastic.
also, kerri and i were chatting about an upcoming dinner party and we decided to make it a pirate themed dinner/pool party. i cant express how excited i am. all i can say is that i'm sure there will be a plethora of pictures of us dressed as pirates and me with a bottle of rum in hand.
i've been talking to an old friend lately and thats great too.

i wish i would have the same connection with some people that i used to
and i wish i would meet more new people, preferably males, preferably older, and preferably ones who like to keep it real.
