[there's a good minute or two of silence on his end too, and when he speaks up, his voice is a bit quieter than usual. not by much, but enough that Aigis might pick up on it.]

[another moment of silence, though this one only lasts a few seconds.]

[brb invading your house. Which means a knock.]

[it takes him like ten seconds or something to get to that door and open it.]

[LONGEST TEN SECONDS EVER DID HE DIE DID HE LIKE FALL DOWN THE STAIRS AND BREAK HIS LEG MAYBE HE ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED IN THE LAST LIKE TWO MINUTES OMG SO WORRIED]

[Except not really, except it does feel like it lasts forever and she greets him with a relieved smile.]

[WELL THOSE STEPS ARE PRETTY DAMN STEEP...]

[upon seeing Aigis--even though, you know, he'd expected her to show up--a small smile appears on his own face, if briefly.]

How are you feeling?

[there's a small moment of pause before he steps to the side and out of the doorway, inviting her in the house without actually saying so.]

[She doesn't add the "now that im with you" but she's pretty sure he hears it.

She enters, looking around. Of course, she's seen it, but it's still so very strange to see the pictures and the 1950s look at Minato's house.]

[though he doesn't put much more thought into it than anything else Minato does indeed hear the missing words to her statement, and after another brief smile meant to say 'I'm glad' he closes the door behind her.]

[Now taking her unofficial place by his side. It feels good to be there. Right. And yet she has so many questions she wants to ask him. It shows.]
