Today already sucks
My feet are frozen. Partly due to my poor choice of shoes and mostly due to the MBTA. I am absolutely bullshit.
I was in the second car. As I do not OWN an MP3 player, I had no headphones on to distract me from any announcement of the train going express. But MAGICALLY it seems the train did anyway. The train finally came to a stop several blocks past where I work.
So my genius plan to avoid almost freezing to death by taking the train was foiled by an asshole who decided it wasn't important enough to tell the hundreds of people crammed into the train that they wouldn't be making all the scheduled stops. I wasn't even that far away from the front of the train! AND I looked like an asshole when I got up and asked to be let out at my stop. No one was ringing the bell, so I assumed no one had to get off.
After a pretty shitty night last night, I was really hoping that this day would go smoothly.
Not surprisingly, it didn't.
