I need skirts and shorts so I can show off my cute tube socks and various knee-length socks I have purchased lately. So here we go:

hmmmmmmmmm! shorts are hard this time of year because its getting all long-pants season and what not. the skirts you posted are really cute but FOR ME i like ones that are a little longer - socks are still visible but they're warmer for the fall/winter.

that plaid one is super cute.

i dont know where those ones came from but if you havent already, check out forever21.com (cheap! tons of stuff!) and def. go to h&m (cheap! you can see it in person!) - dtx/cambridgeside/newburyst.

plz update as more options need opinions. kthnx.

Forever 21 actually had a few cute things! That's where the plaid skirt came from. I think I like that one too. I love school girl/pleated skirts.

Just as a frame of reference, the knee-length skirt I am wearing today is 18 inches long. A twelve inch long skirt IMHO is a little short unless your wearing opaque tights, since you're prone to flash a little booty. However, I love love love that pleated mini and think you'd look adorable in that.
