Back in denver!
Still waiting to hear from Tufts, but i got waitlisted for Reed and accepted at BU. it all seems very anti-climatic now that i'm almost positive i'm just going to CU. even if i did get into Tufts (the only one i actually care about), i doubt i would get enough money from them to mean anything. plus, there's a lot of people i want to continue or develop friendships with in Boulder... but Rebecca AND Elizabeth have been convincing me i need to leave colorado. one thing's for sure: i should stop being such a self-involved and indecisive Libra.
i can't wait to get a kombucha from oak. she gave me one before the show last friday but i totally spaced and left it at the Nomad, plus then i was in Va for a week so i couldn't take care of one if i had it. i got home today to a message on my phone from her all about how to cultivate it though, and i really want to get started! I think i'll ask her to bring one for me to one of the vox fem shows in denver.
We leave for New Orleans on wednesday morning. i'm not very excited and i mainly just want to stay in denver for a while. I also wish that mr. hammond would let nik and i room together.
