Things that have happened today:
-Went to work at 5:45. the computer was broken when i got there and boss mary ended up having to drive over to ed's to wake him up. the image of her banging on his door at 6 in the morning really entertains me.
- he got the thing fxed somehow, and lacy and i had a really fun shift talking about snot. and loogies. and spitting. and i made fun of her wisconsin accent. a lot. we also talked about how awesome riding our bikes is. IRONIC.
- made good tips
- went to school for calc. just had a review day.
-left school at 1:42 and headed up to boulder
-Car stopped driving on US-36. right before the baseline exit. pulled over right behind a cop on a motorcycle named ken who has one older sister and two younger siblings, a sister and a brother. his wife hates windows vista, he wouldn't ever want to live in a house by the highway because "these cars are noisy". also, apparently he asks people if they like Obama to avoid awkward silences.
- waited on th highway for 45 minutes with ken for a tow truck.
- drove all the way back down to denver in the tow truck.
- walked halfway home from the mechanic's lugging all my shit, then got picked up by megan's mom.
- came home to my csu acceptance letter in the mail.
so now i'm gonna go put my street pedals on my bike and ride down to mary's. then possibly to dinner with jenny.
i may have used the word "ironic" in the wrong way in this entry. for that, i apologize.
