(no subject)
This morning i was petting my cat and she bit my nose. She litteraly grabbed on from both the inside and outside of my nose and dragged her teeth. I beat her to a bloody pulp. And then about 15 min later i was cutting a bagel and the knife absolutly just cut through my finger and i screamed and flung my hand in the air spraying blood everywhere and i fell on the floor. My mom kept finding blood all over the kitchen.
Ok so last night i went to a travis fox hypnosis show because i love them and they're totally funny. I've also tried to get hypnotized a couple of times but i can never concentrate hard enough. Anyways, right in the beggining of the show when travis fox was still talking this middle-aged man comes up to the front of the gym was was like..."...This is not ok if you think it is. This is witchcraft. If any of you are believers in Jesus Christ you need to get out of here right now. This is the devil's work..." And i'm pretty sure he had to be escorted away. But i've down a lot of reading and looked into hypnosis a lot it and it's all scientific and natrual. The only problem i could possibly see for Christians is that "somebody else has control over your mind". But in all reality your fully aware of your surroundings and you do have a choice to do something or not if you really want to. Also me and a few of my friends went up to him after the show and asked him about that man. And i know you can never tell anyone's true heart but he claimed to be a believer to and was really sad that the guy did that because he said its a really bad way to try to get people to Christ. He seemed really sincere and was talking like he really was a true believer but once again you can never tell anyone's true heart. But anyways i've been searching on the internet for christian perspectives of it and haven't been able to find anything. So i was just wondering what the rest of you thought about this matter cause i'm really curious.
