[A sound of many birds’ caws and pigs’ snorts can be heard from the device as it turns on. It suddenly focuses on the beach where there are some makeshift constructions of wood and stone, keeping a bunch of little green pigs safe inside.
When-
Caw-caw! as a red bird is hurled towards the construction keeping the pigs safe

So she's soon opening up the door of their bedroom--possibly with a few feathers sticking out of her hair--curious about what Estelle has.]
You have something for me?
[She is really, really interested. Rita likes getting presents!]
Reply
Yes, I do have something for you!
[With a giddy expression, she reaches to the side of their bed where she pulls out a book, with a brown leather cover, bound together by a red ribbon. Obviously handmade, but Estelle made sure it looked nice. The book is closed together by the same red ribbon over the book, tied in a very nice and smooth bow. Inside the book are three works of fiction, that Estelle had copied down into the book just for her.]

[Since she can't think of any particular reason to be getting a present. Rita smiles back, a hint of a blush on her cheeks from the attention, and takes the book from her. It looks handmade, so it's probably not a textbook; otherwise, she has no idea what it is and wastes no time opening the cover.]

I...This...Th-this isn't--what is this supposed to be?!

[She pouts just a bit at Rita’s reaction. It seemed somewhat positive at first, but then seeing her face turn red like that, she wasn’t entirely sure what to make of it. Did she do something wrong? But everyone could see so clearly how much those two cared about each other…]
You aren’t mad at me, are you?

[She can't even entirely process Estelle's question, and just gapes at her for another second.]
But--what did you write them for? [Besides the curse...Although Rita's sure it had to just be a curse. Nobody would write about her and Tyr like this for any other reason, right?]

[She’s being completely honest as her pout melts into a small smile. There’s just something right about these stories to her, about how her and Tyr have this special connection with one another. Essentially, she just wants them both to be happy, and they would look like they would be so happy together.]

W-what do you mean by that?

[Estelle looks down at her hands that are clasped against her stomach, a soft expression appearing on her face as she smiles.]
And when you were gone, anyone could tell he really missed you.

W-well, that's only normal...I mean, I missed you when you were gone, s-so it's not like that means there's anything else between us...
[Totally not obvious denial...]

[Her smiles almost turns melancholic just remembering this past month. Remembering how she was helping to support him at times brings back how hard it was for her… that she felt alone during that time if only because if she asked for support, she’d be a burden - because they needed her support more then she needed theirs. At least that’s what she kept telling herself.
But everything is okay now. Somehow with Rita's return, she found a shoulder to lean on again.]

[And nothing more...Even if Rita's sort of aware that her friendship with Tyr doesn't feel quite the same, admitting to herself or anyone else that it's more than that isn't something she's prepared to do.]

[Sorry Rita, she’s a very observant individual, and she’s studied your and Tyr’s relationship and reactions to each other pretty much inside and out.]

That's just...It's because we've been here for a while, and...we went through a lot, so...
[...She does sort of get the feeling she's just digging her own hole deeper, though.]

[Between Estelle’s curiosity and ability to observe others, yep, Rita is digging quite a nice hole for herself. And also, Rita can thank Tyr for making her a little more curious about this than she should be!]

You know--the curses, and everything that goes on here.
