I placed first (Efficient), second (Purple Moon) and fifth (Dolphin Jo)! The other horse I bet on (Maybe Better) got scratched.
I only made $63 dollars since I didn't bet on 'win' but that's okay, I got a thrill knowing I bet well. Unfortunately I didn't see the race live because of stupid work but when someone read out the winners I jumped up and cheered, lol.
Yay extra money!
I do okay with the Melbourne Cup - I also won money the year before. It's a rare year when I don't at least get a horse in the top 3.
